Dear Friends,
Well if you have not been paying attention to my facebook status, my mom was supposed to get married. Now that’s a touchy subject because my mom has not been married. My father is married and I have a step mother and step siblings. My mother has been alone since my father. So when she told me she was getting married, I was not really shocked but I tried to be happy about it. I also wanted to see my mom happy and get a step father. However this was the case as you will see after reading. Rather than go into details and bore you all, I will make this short and sweet:
My mother was suppose to be married to a guy she have not seen in 30 years. He taught me how to use the bathroom. She was happy and singing. I was happy for her. It all went downhill once he was seen. First, he runs off with my mom’s atm card. He also tried to control my mother’s actions and moves. Even though he was ex military, he was more of an asshole. Finally, he came close to pissing me off and us fighting. There are some more things to this story but the jest is that my mom is not married to this asshole.
So what now? My mom is ok, but I learned that if you want to be married, be patient. Don’t rush because that’s where issues come up. I been looking to be married for years but I am not ready to be responsible for someone else yet. I am almost done getting my shit in order. I love my mother and she will be married but not to an asshole. More to come.
